This won’t be for everyone, but if you’re near Cumbria dating then heading to the Lake District Wildlife Park is a great place to take your date. There’s so much to see and do, you certainly won’t be stuck for conversation!

If you’re in Tayside dating, throughout the year you’ll be just a stones throw away from traditional food festivals. These often include highland games and comedy shows. They are a great way to spend time with your loved one, especially when you’re after something a little out of the ordinary. RHS Garden, Wisley near Guildford –

If you like more of a quite and calm atmosphere and you like the outdoors, the RHS garden in Wisley  is the perfect place to take your date. I’m sure many single men in Guildford have taken their dates to this beautiful garden, full of vibrant seasonal flowers. There’s nothing better than enjoying the peace and quiet of nature, if you love this too then I’m sure this garden will be right up your street!

Sweetheart Abbey, near Guildford –

This late 13th century ruin in the perfect place for a date if history is your thing. Single women in Galloway and Dumfries will be drawn to the idealistic beauty of this place. It’s a place to stroll around and enjoy, especially at the height of summer when the weather is on your side.


These places are ideal if you like to head out and learn something about the world. It’s more like adult dating than heading out to the local club and partying into the small hours. I know which I’d prefer!
