We all know that dating isn’t an easy game to play. It can be so nerve-wracking when you meet people for the first time. We spend half of the time worrying about what we look like and what we’re saying. The rest of the time is spent worrying about what our date thinks about us and if it’s going well. Whether you’re dating Glasgow or dating Leicestershire, the thought process is always the same and it can leave us feeling a little confused!
If you often find yourself feeling like this. then there are a few things to look out for that will indicate whether your date went well, or not. You don’t want to analyse the situation too much, but by thinking back to a few specific things about your date, you’re sure to answer a few questions that are worrying your doubtful mind.
Here are three tell-tale signs that your date went well;
You had a lot to talk about –
It doesn’t matter if you’re dating Guernsey, dating Yorkshire, or maybe even dating Manchester, in fact all over the world! The most obvious sign that your date went well is that you had a lot to talk about. A good flow of interesting conversation, with no awkward silences to put you on edge is a sure-fire way to know that your date is interested in you and what you’re all about. If your conversation bypassed small talk and pleasantries, diving straight into meaningful chat, the chances are that you’ll be seeing that person again!
The time passed quickly –
Everyone knows that when they’re not having a good time, the time seems to slow down. You find yourself looking at your watch too frequently and often cut the date short, making your excuses to leave. So, it goes without saying that if your date is going well, the time will just fly by. The date will be over before you know it and you won’t believe that it’s time to leave already. If you feel like this after a date, it’s sure to have gone well!
Your date was tactile and had good body language –
It’s not always easy to read a person’s body language, but there are a few simple things you can look out for to reassure you. One of the most obvious signs is that your date is tactile. If they touch your arm when they’re talking to you for example, you can be pretty certain that they like you! People don’t tend to try to get close to people they’re not into, so take this as a positive sign.
Another thing to look out for is how your date sits around you. If they turn their body away from you or cross their arms over their body, then this might be a sign that they’re just not that into you. If they turn their body towards you though and even lean in a little, then it’s safe to say that they like what they see!
