Like many bloggers before me, tea is my fuel of choice. It’s my go to drink throughout the day, keeping me on the ball and working hard. Since our kettle died a steam fuelled death a few months ago, I’ve been making said tea using a very boring and colourless kettle. So when I was offered the chance to try out the beautiful, red in colour Vremi Whistling Tea Kettle, I jumped at the chance!
A Kettle with Style
When our Vremi kettle arrived I was so excited to see that it was a stove-top kettle. With its bright red colour and heat resistant handle, it provides a contemporary twist to the older style stove-top kettles. You get the look you want for your kitchen, whilst incorporating the modern day advancements you’d expect. Long gone are the days when a kitchen towel was need to lift the kettle from the stove! This kettle is capable of holding up to 1.9L of water too, so if you’re entertaining there’ll be more than enough tea to go around.
Now for the best bit! When the water in the kettle begins to reach boiling point, it whistles to let you know that you’re good to go. I absolutely love this feature, it takes me back to my childhood when we used whistling kettles on holiday. Only this time, there’s a little more class! Once you’re ready to pour, you pull back the easy to reach finger grip, which opens the spout with ease.
Practical and Pretty
After using the Vremi kettle instead of our electric number for the past week, Hubs and I are total converts. We don’t have the biggest of kitchens, so the space that we’re saving on the worktop is a huge bonus. The kettle itself, looks really pretty sat in our kitchen and the vibrant red adds a dash of colour that was missing before. It’s practical and pretty – a kettle I would definitely recommend!
