Nim’s Fruit & Vegetable Crisps Review

Since becoming a parent I have found that eating healthily has become much more important.  Having little people to run around after means I need to be on the top of my game.  Giving my children healthy foods to eat is an absolute must too.  The trouble is that we all like a treat every now and again, to satisfy our snack tooth!  So when I was given the opportunity to sample Nim’s Fruit & Vegetable Crisps with Baby J, I couldn’t wait to get crunching!

Nim’s are made from British fruits and vegetables that have been air-dried, making them 100% natural.  As a mum herself Nimisha Raja created this range to bring both tasty and healthy snacks to the market, for adults and children alike.

Upon opening our package I didn’t know where to start.  There are so many flavours to try, so we sat down and had a family tasting session!  Since these crisps are totally free from added sugars, additives and preservatives I wasn’t sure if there would be much intensity in flavour.  I needn’t have worried, each packet was perfectly crisp and full in flavour.

My favourite was the pear variety.  They are sweet, moreish and really hit the spot when you fancy something naughty to eat.  The best bit about Nim’s? You miss out the naughty!  Hubs was a fan of the tomato, he loved how much flavour they held and kept asking for more.

Baby J tried each flavour and honestly loved the pineapple. This flavour will definitely be a staple in our house.  Giving Baby J a snack she loves, and that is one of her five a day is a win-win situation for parent and child.

As a family we love Nim’s Fruit & Vegetable Crisps.  They are healthy, scrummy and totally guilt free.  With our harshest critic well and truly on board, we give this range a big thumbs up!

Nim’s will soon be launching their Kids range, as they are so passionate about creating healthy snacks for children.  If this is something you also believe in you could head over to their Tesco Backit crowdfunder campaign, there are some really great rewards on offer!

*We were sent a selection of Nim’s Fruit & Vegetable Crisps, free of charge for the purpose of this review.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I should definitely try these – I have moved the crisps box up high in the cupboard, but every time I open the door to get out the bread all I hear is “CRISPIES!”
